3 Geographical Location The Goshuite Indians lived in the western desert of Utah.

4 Food The Goshuite ate: fish, deer, plants, berries, chilies, vegetables, and bugs.

5 Clothing They wore: hats, beaded shoes, leather dresses, headbands, and moccasins.

6 Weapons They had: rifles, beaded daggers, bows and arrows, quivers, and pointy rocks.

7 Shelters They lived in: teepees, which looked like upside down ice cream cones, and hogans which looked like cabins.

8 Daily Life The men herded sheep and goats, and the women took care of children. They also liked to dance.

9 Beliefs and Customs: They believed that the wolf, coyote, rabbit, bear, and mountain lion were supposed to have lived before the human age.

10 Legends They have a legend called Pia Toya. It is about a fox that tricks a mother hawk out of her breakfast. She got so mad that she made the mountain Pia Toya.
