Misissuinissaq /Object of the Study Kalaallit Nunatsinni innuttaasut Silap pissusaata allannguutaanik misigileriigaannik apersuinikkut katersinissaq To collect the climate change observations made by residents of Greenland through interviews

15
Why interviews? To collect data through personal interviews with Greenland hunters and others who live close to the environment is important. That way we are able to get some of the knowledge these have that are of importance to the culture closely connected to the environment, what is also called TEK, Traditional Environmental/Ecological Knowledge
16
Kikkut / Who will be the informants? Piniartut/Hunters Aalisartut/Fishermen Allallu asimik atuisuusut avatangiisimillu ilisimasaqarluartullu / And other knowledgeable persons of the environment
17
Paasiniaanermi sumiiffiit sammineqartussat / Locations whereat the interviews will be conducted Kujataa / South Greenland Kitaa / West Greenland Avanersuaq / North Greenland Tunu / east Greenland

19
Who are being partnered with? Among others: IPY (2007-2008) Project called SIKU, Sea Ice Knowledge and Use. In this hunters from Avanersuaq, North West Greenland and East Greenland will be exchanging their knowledge with other sciences on sea ice

Expected results Observations made by the inhabitants of Greenland will be collected TEK will be the base for the collected data and these data will remain in Greenland also for the coming generations The changes that already are observed will steward us into the new situation that we all are to adapt to
