2 Fair Ball Key points 1.A bounding ball must be over fair ground when passing 1 st or 3 rd base 2.A ball in flight past the base must first hit in fair ground 3.A ball that does not pass 1 st or 3 rd base must settle or be touched by a player, umpire or their equipment in fair territory

3 Fair Ball Common mistakes 1.All of the line is in fair ground 2.All bases are in fair ground 3.The position of the player has no bearing on fair or foul * where is the ball when it is touched

29 SUBSTITUTE - DEFINITION Player who exhibits signs, symptoms or behaviors consistent with a concussion shall be removed from the game and shall not return to play until cleared by an appropriate health-care personnel. Re-entry rules apply.
