1. Tri-Valley High School Daily Announcements Today’s Date: Friday, November 6th, 2015.

2. Yearbook The yearbook is in need of fall sports pictures. They have very few.

3. COMMUNITY YOUTH FOUNDATIONS Winter coat drive is up and running! Bring any new or used coats, hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves to support and benefit the youth and families of Muskingum county. Clothing and monetary donations accepted through Friday, November 13th and the clothing bin is in the commons, directly outside the library.

4. Mid-East Permission slips for the Mid-East field trip for sophomores are due to student services by next Friday(Nov.13)

5. Band The band competed in their 34th OMEA State Marching Band Finals at Hilliard Bradley Stadium. The marching Scotties received an overall “Excellent” rating at State Finals. Congratulations!

6. Volleyball The Volleyball banquet will be Tuesday, November 10th at 6:30pm. Flyers can be picked up in the office or girls locker room.

7. Ruriteen Ruriteen will be collecting money from now until November 12th for breast cancer awareness. The money will be going to someone in the area that is currently going through treatments to defray costs. Students can buy ribbons for a dollar a piece and if a student buys five of them or donates five dollars to the cost, they will be able to spend 7th and 8th period on November 13th outside walking to show support. Please give all money to your homeroom teachers.

8. Archery There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, November the 11th in the high school caratorium. Times are 6:00 p.m for the elementary (grades 4-5). The meeting for the middle school and high school will be from 7:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. Registration will be 15.00 dollars and registration packets are available on the Tri-Valley website.

9. Playoff Football Good Luck to the football team as they travel to Youngstown Boardman to play the Boardman Spartans in the first round of the Division II state playoffs. Game starts at 7:30 pm.

10. Girls Soccer Regional Final Good luck to the girls soccer team as they travel to Newark this Saturday at 3:00 pm to take on Granville in the regional finals. The winner will earn a spot in the state FINAL FOUR. The school will be providing a bus at no cost to take students to the game. The bus will leave at 2pm Sat. It is first come first serve. Sign up in Mrs. Brennen’s room.

11. Choir Honor Choir students who would like help with their honor choir music can come today after school to Dresden Elementary. Ms. Parsons will be available at 2:45 pm.

12. Apparel Noah Williams Brody Smith Kaleb Long Spencer Littick Adam Cain These students should report to the office to pick up apparel

13. Football Players The football team will be released at the beginning 5th period lunch. (11:08) The cheerleaders and trainers will be released after 5th period (11:41)

14. Drama Club There will be a drama club meeting in room T-10 after school Tuesday Nov. 10. Anyone is welcome.

15. University of Akron A representative from U of A will be in student services during 8th period on Monday. Get permission from your teacher if you want to attend.

16. Muskingum County Youth Foundation A representative will be here on tuesday, Nov. 12 to speak with seniors about how to search and apply for scholarships. She will be here periods 4, 6, 7, and 8. If you are interested please sign up in Student Services.

17. Tri-Valley Swiffers To raise money for their clean parks initiative, the Tri-Valley Swiffers will be hosting a bake sale during study hall TODAY

18. AP Calc Any AP calc student who will not be in class today needs to stop by Mrs. Maddox’s room for a handout before you leave.
