2. Essay Groups You will be assigned to a group if you cannot create one, join one or have more than five or less than three members. The selection will be random. 3. Essay Question One focus of this course is to understand the development of network Infrastructures and their impact on Management Infrastructure. We do this by examining various aspects of networks from the standards to applications An important aspect of the networks is the distributed object technology such as CORBA, DCOM and RMI that are becoming increasingly important and that is the focus of the essay. You are to write an essay which does the following:

Essay Question Present brief case studies of the use of CORBA, DCOM and RMI in either mainstream industries (medical, financial, telecommunications) or others Compare and contrast the use of these technologies and why they were either successful or not in their deployment Present a case where the interoperability of these technologies is either advantageous or disadvantageous.
