1. Please use this time to chat with your partner without using any spoken language.

2. Think Pair Share Think about Episode 1 of Switched at Birth we watched yesterday. What Deaf culture facts did you learn? What signs did you pick up? Share these ideas with your partner

3. Get to know your partner Gather as much information about your partner as you can without using written or spoken language. Make sure to write down what you have learned, you will be introducing your neighbor based on the information you gathered.

4. “This is Not a Pipe” What did this mean? I have an item that you and your partner will have to come up with 10 other things that my item could be. Be prepared to model how the item could be something different.

5. Design a Tattoo Design either your first tattoo, or another tattoo (for those of you that already have a few) that would represent you. Unfortunately, your parents told you that you are not permitted to have any words tattooed on your body. Be as creative and detailed as possible.

6. Guesstures We will break into groups and play guesstures. 1 person picks a card and has to act out the concept on the card while the other teammates try to guess the concept.
