Apple II (1977) In 1977 the Apple II was launched and became one of the most popular personal computers. Going into the 80’s and 90’s it became even more popular.

After, he signed a contract Pixar and started making animated films. Since then, Pixar has earned 26 Academy Awards, 7 Golden Globes, and 3 Grammy Awards!

iMac (1998) After returning to Apple in 1997. In 1998 the iMac came out and Apple became even more famous. It had the monitor and computer enclosed in plastic. It was a huge success and became a high demand.

iPod (2001) This portable digital music player came out in 2001. The iPod lead Apple into the world of music. Since October 2004, the iPod line has had over 90 percent of the market share for digital music player sales in the U.S. Now, they also have the iPod nano and the iPod touch and a 2 nd edition iPod touch.

iTunes Music Store (2003) This straight forward solution to buying songs changed the music industry forever. In 2003 it came out and in the first week they had sold a total of 1 million songs. Now, iTunes is used so much and is so popular there is an average buy of 5 billion songs and 50,000 movies a day. iTunes is now the #1 music retailer in the U.S.

iPad (2010) The iPad came out in 2010. This was a touch screen and about the size as a piece of paper. It became an instant success. The iPad sold 15 million units in nine months! The iPad now has a 2 nd edition. This one also includes a camera and video option.

The Future I imagine that in many years from now, children will be studying Steve Jobs in history like we study today, Martin Luther King Jr., George Washington, George Washington Carver, and many others. Without them we wouldn’t be the same people if it wasn’t for them. Without Steve Jobs we wouldn’t have the outstanding technology we have today.
