4. Lets remember… The Purpose of Accreditation MINIMUM –Provide a MINIMUM standard of education –Protect the public –Protect the student –So the accreditation documents are guidelines that establish the minimum standards Room for improvement & advancement

5. My two cents… verifyThe site visit team is there to verify info from the self-study –They should not be “out to get you” like a detective pursuing Americas most wanted –They can even assist you sometimes, so don’t miss the opportunity to utilize the visit team to help the program
