Overview In current document, –When E-MBS is frequency division multiplexed with unicast, the PRU resources in units of N2 PRUs are partitioned into two sets; one meant for unicast data and the other for E-MBS data. E-MBS channel shows usually very high delay spread –N2 level partition may degrades channel estimation performance In this contribution, we compare N1 level channel estimation and N2 level channel estimation in various conditions

Simulation Results 1/3 DRU permutation, Pilot pattern A, SFBC are used in this simulation set up. Almost 3dB performance difference is shown at 1% BLER.

Simulation Results 2/3 DRU permutation, Pilot pattern A, SM are used in this simulation set up. 1PRU based channel estimation does not working in this scenario.

Simulation Results 3/3 8.3% pilot pattern and Pattern A in SDD, SM are used in this simulation set up. This is worst case scenario for 4PRU CE, which is miniband CRU for 1PRU CE and subband CRU for 4PRU CE. About1dB performance difference is shown at 1% BLER.

Proposed text Line 22-23, page 127, modify texts as follows: When E-MBS is frequency division multiplexed with unicast, the PRU resources in units of N2 PRUs are p artitioned into two sets; one meant for unicast data an d the other for E-MBS data.

Pilot pattern used in simulation Pattern A in SDD: Unicast pilot pattern (2-stream) Pilot Pattern : overhead 8.3% per stream
