7 5th Eminent domain with just compensation No double jeopardy Don’t have to testify against yourself

8 6th Right to a speedy criminal trial with a jury

9 7th Right to a civil trial with a jury if the case is in the amount of $20.00 or more

10 8th No excessive or unreasonable bail

11 9 th The enumeration of rights

12 10th Reserved powers to the state

13 11th You cannot sue another state (country)

14 12th President and Vice President to be selected on separate ballots

15 13th Abolishment of slavery

16 14th Automatic citizenship if born on U.S. soil Guaranteed rights of U.S. citizen, regardless of race or gender

17 15th Any male could vote, regardless of race, ethnicity, or color

18 16th Federal Income Tax

19 17th Direct election of United States Senators

20 18th Prohibition of sales of consumption of alcohol in the United States

21 19th Allows women to vote in all elections

22 20th Moved congressional start from March to January

23 21st Repeals prohibition, sales of alcohol or consumption is permitted

24 22nd Limits President to two elected terms in office President may serve in capacity for no more than ten years, due to possibility of taking over during vice presidency
