© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management Rough Order Of Magnitude (ROM) Effort Classification These are rough order of magnitudes and do not include project ramp-up and testing effort (SIT & UAT) and only assumes unit testing. Actual estimates could vary significantly depending on requirements. Ramp-up and testing would be 20 to 40% of the overall effort (needs minimum by in) Change TypeROM MINOR0 – 20 K SMALL20 – 40 K MEDUIM40 – 60 K HIGH60 – 120 K VERY HIGHOver 120 K

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-30 Multiple ROR validation 5 Existing Production Behavior When trying to add a meter using a CSV file that contains meters from multiple RORs, users can select only one ROR for validation.. Only one Retail Electric Provider can be selected Complexity: High

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-30 Multiple ROR validation 6 Business Requirement Allow users to select multiple RORs on the Portal screen to validate each record in the CSV file to ensure each ESIID/meter is associated with one of the selected RORs. Multiple Retail Electric Providers can be selected Complexity: High

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 7 7 AMWG CR 2015-31 Add meter functionality

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-31 Add meter functionality 8 Currently users are allowed to select a previous ROR when adding a meter. Complexity: High

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management Business Requirement Add-Meter functionality – for previous ROR to new ROR AMWG CR 2015-31 Add meter functionality 9 Proposed Solution: Message will appear if user selects the previous ROR

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 10 AMWG CR 2015-32 FTP / SFTP Protocol

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-32 FTP / SFTP Protocol 11 Proposed Solution: SMT hardware refresh includes new software version upgrades. The new FTP software version will allow SFTP protocol, but needs to be configured and tested to ensure both FTPS and SFTP are supported. Complexity: High

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 12 AMWG CR 2015-33 Customer account set-up process

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-33 Customer account set-up process 13 Business Requirement Specific requirements / rules about user name and password do not appear intuitively. Example: the use of special characters is not allowed, but the error message displayed does not provide sufficient information / direction to correct. Proposed Solution: Tooltip with rules will appear in the screen when the cursor will be in the User- ID field. Complexity: Medium

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-33 Customer account set-up process 14 Business Requirement (cont) Password requirement Tool-tip Proposed Solution: Tooltip with rules will appear in the screen when the cursor will be in the All- Password fields Complexity: Medium

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 15 AMWG CR 2015-34 Usage display on the SMT portal

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-34 Usage display on the SMT portal 16 Business Requirement Display the day of the week in addition to the date. This could be calculated “run time” to be displayed on the screen and not have to be stored in the database. The day of the week would be optional (selected by the customer) and only for shorter duration extracts (duration TBD). Proposed Solution: Day of the week will appear with date for the Usage Type – Daily Meter Reads Complexity: Medium

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 17 AMWG CR 2015-35 Customer Usage Report Subscription

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-35 Customer Usage Report Subscription 18 Business Requirement Monthly Usage E-mail subscription Proposed Solution: User will have an option to subscribe monthly usage via E-mail. Check-Box : Selected – Monthly email will be delivered Complexity: Medium

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 19 AMWG CR 2015-36 SMT Home Screen Navigation

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-36 SMT Home Screen Navigation 20 Business Requirement Rename the “Overview” tab to “Home”, and when selected will guide the customer to the SMT main landing page. Current for Private Users – landing page 1 st tab/link has name ‘Overview’ proposed solution is to change to ‘Home’ Complexity: Minor

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 21 AMWG CR 2015-37 TDSP and REP landing pages

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-37 TDSP and REP landing pages 22 Business Requirement Remove the SMT demonstration video from the TDSP and REP sites. Complexity: Minor

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-38 3 rd Party Functionality 24 Business Requirement Place a “hold” on 3 rd Party accounts for up to 60 days (preventing the issuance of usage requests and receipt of usage reports) until the 3 rd party completes the required integration and connectivity processes with SMT. Proposed Solution: If 3 rd party user has not completed FTP and API integration user will get message on this page. Please complete the API and FTP integration with SMT, for more information please call SMT help-desk. Complexity: High

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management 25 AMWG CR 2015-39 3 rd Party Functionality

© 2012 IBM Corporation 3 rd Party Registration & Account Management AMWG CR 2015-39 3rd Party Functionality 26 Business Requirement Currently, during the Agreement invitation process, the error messages displayed in the Portal invitation page are a list of generic reasons for failure, instead of a specific reason (s). REPs and 3rd Parties do not know if the error is due to user error or invalid data provided by their customers. Knowing the specific reason (s) for failure will allow quicker diagnosis and resolution of the situation, enhancing the experience of the REPs, 3rd Parties, and customers. Proposed Solution: Provide individual more specific reason (s) for an invitation failure. These reasons will be agreed to by a business content team with support from the SMT security team.. Complexity: Medium
