10. INVITING TEACHERS ON NAVIANCE Colleges tab  Colleges I’m Applying To  Under “Teacher Recommendations” click in “add/cancel requests”  Use the drop down menu to select teacher(s)  Click “Update Requests” button to finalize requests

11. Help your parents access their Naviance Account. Once they log on, have them complete the Parent Input Page. STEP 6 Parent Input Form

12. STEP 7 Visit Colleges Visit Colleges Over the Summer VISIT at least 2-3 schools prior to returning this fall. We recommend visiting all schools for which you plan to submit an application.

13. STEP 8 Register and Study for the SAT/ACT Register for a Fall SAT and/or ACT Study for the SAT and ACT’s

14. STEP 9 Resume Update and upload your resume to Naviance. Go to “My Planner” and then to “Tasks Assigned to Me”. Click on “Upload a Resume”.

15. STEP 10 Attend College Workshops Drop in Sessions Every Thursday in July from 12:00-2:00pm College Essay July 22 at 1pm UMCP will present on the college essay Naviance/Common App August 5 th from 1:00-2:30pm
