4 Problem A need exists to monitor homes while away at various locations. Devices that address this are expensive and difficult to install, making them inaccessible to the majority of potential users.

5 Solution iSecurity: Camera & WiFi device configured through iPhone application Notifications sent directly to the iPhone Device requires home wireless internet connection Minimal user interaction required for setup

7 Technical Design Constraints Image Processing: 10 frames per second, motion detection between frames. Wifi: Support for WPA Personal, WPA2 Personal, and WEP. Power: Single 120VAC Connection (from standard wall socket). Storage: Still frames stored on removable SD card when motion is detected. Range: Motion must be detectable at 40ft.
