Test sites can be impacted by regional and local tsunami sources, which put different levels of stress on detection and forecasting; Different tsunami source types, such as earthquakes, landslides, volcanoes and rockslides, some of which not included in NEAMTWS Different values at risk including industry, harbours and other infrastructures, and ecosystems Different coastal communities such as fishing communities, coastal cities and tourist developments.
