2 What is NAR? What is NAR? NAR stands for the National Association of REALTORS®. In order for one to be considered a REALTOR®, he/she must be a member of NAR. All REALTORS® must adhere to the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics. NAR has different designations within the association, in this instance we will be discussing NAR’s Green Designation.

3 Was developed by the National Association of REALTORS® in November, 2008 Provides REALTORS® with education on how green to identify and understand green building principles Recognizes, validates, and responds to concerns and priorities of the green-generation consumers—sellers, buyers, tenants, builders, developers. Is awarded to REALTORS® who have completed 18 hours of professional training with an option to focus residential, commercial, property management NAR’s Green Designation: NAR’s Green Designation:
