4 Fit Being fit means your body can cope with the activities you need to do

5 Fit Being fit means your body can cope with the activities you need to do To stay fit you should eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, avoid smoking, avoid alcohol and avoid drug abuse.

7 How fit are you? In pairs one of you is going to run on the spot for 2 minutes You will then measure your heart rate over a period of 10 minutes

9 How to measure pulse Check your pulse at your wrist. Use two fingers - your index and middle. Count how many beats in 20 seconds and multiply that number by three to get your heart rate.
