4.  In the 1800’s the American Culture was just being created. Look up the “Dolly Madison” she was the First Lady of the United States. Tell me in a paragraph why do YOU think they would wear this type of dress everyday. (google doc this please)

5.  Why did the fashion change during the 1850-1865? What happened in 1861?  How did England fashion influence American fashion? What is this time period called (hint it is not an American name)  What do the clothes look like? What are the pros and cons of their clothing?  What is happening to clothing during the 1890’s-1900?

6.  What did YOU think about the clothing of the different times?  Why?  Could you wear this type of clothing?  Keeping an open mind, why do you think people like watching “period made” movies with this type of clothing?  I hope you enjoyed researching this, I LOVE the Victorian Period
