3 Saigon Hotpot | Member Recruitment Brochure 2015 Saigon Hotpot Introduction I.General Introduction:  Saigon Hotpot is a non-profit organization which is run by voluntary students from different universities in HCM city. Our aims are to promote the beauty of Vietnam to the world and create a dynamic environment for self-development of the local students.  Our four main core values are Honesty, Friendliness, Culture respect and Learning attitude. II.Saigon Hotpot’s Activities:  Our activities are divided into 2 main fields: Tourism and Culture  Tourism is our core activity, in which we offer free tour guide services and other support programs for foreign tourists.  In Culture section we organize charity and cultural events, with participants who are often foreign students, expats or tourists.  Besides offering free tour service and organizing cultural exchange events, Saigon Hotpot also organize an annual charity program called Sky Lantern to raise funds to support children in remote areas. 5 Saigon Hotpot |Member Recruitment Brochure 2015 Recruitment 2015 Human Resources Department I.Job Description:  HR is an internal department which manages the club structure and connects all the members to ensure the overall growth of SGHP in general.  About managing members,we have these following projects : Organizing the amazing annual recruitment. Upholding the regulation of SGHP. Training soft skills for members.  About connecting member, we: Launch annual Camping. Organize party to celebrate SGHP’s anniversary. Hold club meetings. Support the members if they have any problems.

Benefits:  Develop leader skill, communication and time management.  Gain more experiences in planning and doing events.  Improve flexibility.  Open network and relationship. III. Requirements  Self-disciplined.  Great enthusiasm.  Open-minded, obliging and fun-loving.  Enjoy working with people.  Acceptable knowledge about computer (high dexterity of designing and/or writing computer software is a plus).

Job Description: Tour department mainly focuses on managing, dealing any tour issues, launching new tour packages as well as enhancing tours and tour guides’ quality. II. Requirements:  Communication skills  IT skills (design poster, make video clip..)  Adaptability, flexibility  Good organization and planning skills  Creativity

There are 3 significant projects within a year: Sky Lantern, RUBICTalks and International cultural exchange. All activities are closely related to organizing these three projects.  Members are responsible for: Conceptualizing ideas and insights. Operating the recruitment procedure for each event. Planning and implementing long-term and short-term programs. Managing the information about these events on Fanpage and Website. Joining internal activities within the department to forge the intimate relationships with other members.

This is very beneficial for those who are learning event organizing.  Expanding personal capacity as well as friend network  Good environment to practice teamwork skill  Having chance to meet and exchange our culture with international friends and learn new things from them  Having a chance to contribute to our community with meaningful social works III. Requirements:  Enthusiasm is the first priority.  Having basic awareness of how to run an event.  Inquiry mind, desire to learn new things.  High responsibility for assigned work.  Good communication skill ( both English and Vietnamese)  Interested in discovering Vietnamese culture, history, cuisine, etc.

III. Requirement:  Can-do attitude  Negotiating, organizing (preferred) and playing (compulsory) skills  Good time-management.
