15. DATE For date of publication, always use the most recent edition. Therefore, if a book is published in 1997, 2000, and 2008, use 2008 in your bibliography. PLACE For place of publication, always use the first one listed. Therefore, if the book was printed in Toronto, New York and Waterdown…..use Toronto.

16. When listing the author(s), you must include all of them in the order in which they appear. But...

17. The first author is listed by surname first, then first name: Brown, Bart The next two are written in normal order: Brown, Bart, David Duchene and Elton Fraser.

18. With 4 or more authors, you list the first one in the usual way: Bourne, Jason and then use the handy little Latin phrase “et al.”, which means ‘and all the others.” for the remaining 3+ authors. Bourne, Jason, et al. Identity and Supremacy... ETC.
