Of Children & Families take children who have been removed from abusive/neglectful situations or have been abandoned. Amanda Ludy, President of the UNF Circle K club spoke of their upcoming “Backpack Drive” in the spring semester. They are now starting to collect old & new backpacks, nonperishable food, clothing, shoes, car seats, or hygiene products. Please bring your donated items each week to the meetings. Butch Shadwell is in charge of collection. Lea’s Place Volunteer Program is in need of volunteers to sit with detained children, supervise court ordered family visits, provide office support, and assist private investigators.
