3 Your listing presentation is the most important contact you will have with a seller prospect. In most cases, it’s the first face-to-face contact you will have with this prospect, and the only chance you’ll have to help them understand how you can benefit them in a way that other agents can’t.

4 In many cases, you will be in competition with other agents who will also be trying to sell their services. How well you do in this presentation will determine whether this prospect becomes your client, or someone else’s.

5 While every listing presentation you do should be tailored specifically to the individual prospect you are trying to convert (i.e. you should have a good understanding of his/her home and neighborhood via comparables, and you should try to identify their personality type in order to know how best to explain your benefits), the nuts and bolts of each presentation will be the same. You should create a physical presentation (on PowerPoint or in a binder) to use as a visual aid with your prospects. This will serve to keep both you and your prospect on track.

6 Fun Presentation Skills  11% of people are “Terrified” of delivering a presentation – even if it’s to one person.  7% “Feel Like Superman”. So, the majority of us fall somewhere in between. Not bad!  We’re a bit better than average at delivering presentations (we just don’t know that).  We’re good at practicing with 64% practicing their presentation at least twice.  Above all else (designing nice slides, being energetic, funny or well rehearsed), your audience (38%) wants you to tell them a story, not just read each slide.

7 Seven seconds. That’s how much time it takes to make a first impression. As an agent, your first impression has to be fantastic in order to convince a seller to list with you. Proper planning and preparation will gain you an edge over the competition and earn your potential seller’s business.

10 Don’t Wing It – Use A Proven Real Estate Listing Presentation – Most Realtors use a CMA as their listing presentation. They compete over price to get a listing. It’s not unusual for a Realtor to name a higher price than they feel the home will sell for just to get the listing. Don’t compete over price and base your listing presentation around a CMA. What has always worked best is to evaluate the seller’s motivation before going on a listing appointment and then using a proven listing presentation to get the listing.

13 With the Editable Power Point version of the Listing Presentation – you can edit any of the slides or content within the slides – or delete the slides you don’t want / need. For example…maybe you have two versions of the Listing Presentation ready to go and personalized: 1) All of the slides 2) Short version

14 You can use the presentation on your iPad in Keynote. There is a Keynote version ready to use – or use the editable landscape version – make the changes in PPT then save and open in Keynote on your iPad!
