RAI formula for admission is: » 2x your ACT score » 1x your H.S. rank » 20x GPA » 5x number of core courses (Eng, Math, SS, Sci, Spanish)

2 RAI Scores Automatic admission to Regent schools: 245 Scholarships: Distinguished Scholars at UNI 320 and above = $2,500 /year 300-319 = $1,000/year Below 300 (need 28 ACT)= $1,000/year

3 How do I Calculate my RAI? WEBSITE CALCULATOR www.regents.iowa.gov/RAI/index.html Highest Composite ACT score Current class rank and GPA Core course number – Add up your total core courses (divide by 2) from your transcript. – All math, all science (except Human Life), all Social studies, all Spanish, and all English courses count.

4 How do I Increase my RAI? The most efficient way is to take more core courses. Each one is 2-3 points. Improve your ACT composite score by preparing in advance. Do your best in ALL your courses to improve rank and GPA.
