5 Grammar -What are doing on Monday? - I’m having business lunch. -What are you up to on Monday? -I think I will meet my boss. - Are you doing anything at the weekend? -I’m not sure but I might pick up my colleague from the airport.

6 Present Continuous Is used to talk about fixed plans and arrangements. This means you know the time, place and people who are going to take part. + Subject + (am/is/are) + Verb+ing She is attending a lesson. - Subject + (am/is/are+NOT) + Verb+ing She isn’t attending a lesson ? (Am/is/are) + Subject + Verb+ing Is she attending a lesson?

7 Other future forms We can also use will after I think: I think I will have a phone conference. Will + Infinitive Or might to talk about plans we are not sure about: I might have a meeting with my colleagues. Might + Infinitive

8 Remember to pronounce the phrases correctly: Will/Won’t I think I’ll attend a lesson. I think I won’t give a presentation. Contracted ‘be’ I’m picking up a colleague from the airport. He’s taking part in a phone conference.

9 Time Phrases When talking about future plans we can use these time phrases: Tomorrow The day after tomorrow Next week/month/next year In a few days’ time/in a few years’ time Soon
