4 Renaissance- A time of “cultural rebirth” in Europe. People started becoming interested in art and culture. Reformation- a religious movement in people begin to question the church Scientific Revolution- scientists used the scientific method and logic and reason to make human life easier Enlightenment- thinkers (called philosophers) began to question authority and demand natural rights American Revolution- the 13 colonies break away from Great Britain because of ideas from the Enlightenment and mistreatment from Great Britain and the King
