9 9 Title/Group/Section,etc. Updated EMS Awareness Videos Online  One for Senior Leaders with messages from 5 Commanding Officers on mission benefits of EMS they have realized.  One for general installation population on everyone’s role in the EMS  Director of Chief of Naval Operations Environmental Readiness Division introduces the videos and endorses and commits to EMS.  Covers fundamental principles of EMS  Provides better awareness of each individual’s roles and responsibilities

11 11 Title/Group/Section,etc. EO 13423 Implementation Update  Department of Navy EO 13423 Implementation Work Group  Comprised of all relevant commands  NAVFAC Atlantic (CONUS and EURSWA)  Created Multi-Business Line CFT September 2008 to coordinate implementation and identify possible opportunities for synergy  Navy Region Mid-Atlantic  Created Multi-Command Cross-Functional Team (CFT) October 2007 Chaired by NAVFAC Midlant Executive Officer Five Work Groups to tackle specific goals Meet semi-annually to review progress and set new goals  Select Installations  Beginning to incorporate EO 13423 goals into EMS where appropriate
