Our Chromebook Adventure Begins… We will be using Chromebooks this year.

What is a chromebook? A chromebook is a internet based, highly portable computer. It has a keyboard, microphone and camera. Each chromebook has applications on it that we will use to enhance our learning.

Each student will have a Chromebook to use in the classroom and a Google account that can be used anywhere students have access to the internet

Why are we using chromebooks?

PARCC The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is a group of states working together to develop a set of assessments that measure whether students are on track to be successful in college and their careers. These high quality, computer-based K–12 assessments in Mathematics and English Language Arts/Literacy give teachers, schools, students, and parents better information whether students are on track in their learning and for success after high school, and tools to help teachers customize learning to meet student needs. The PARCC assessments will held for grades 3-6: May 9 to June 3, 2016

Are there any questions?
