3 Input Supply Seed, inoculant, Phosphorus and Agronomic and Business Support Services PPPs will operate within the framework of formal, multi-stakeholder agreements with clear roles and responsibilities and commitments, both financial and technical These PPPs have four critical pillars Capacity Building Dissemination Market NARS, Farmer Organizations, Women Group, Public Extension Agents and others Marketable surplus pulled to lead firm and stimulate home consumption as an alternative Proven Legume Technology Packages Introduction Gender, Nutrition, ICT tools

4 Objectives Map different partners engaged in legume value chain and explore areas for partnership Develop sustainable systems for input and output market chains of N2Africa Legumes Develop platform for harmonized efforts by different public and private partners Deep dive into existing initiatives at ground level and understand legume dynamics. PPP

5 Identifying relevant stakeholders and key actors on input supply and output chain Scoping at ground level in each of N2Africa operating weredas- tavelled to over 15 N2Africa sites Second round scoping with targeted national level actors: development partners and major buyers Develop Strategy which forms the core of the Partnership Agreement Discussion on the draft PPPSigning PPPAction Planning Approac h
