4 Can you work these out? A film starts at 2050 and ends at 2325. How long does it last for? 2050 to 2100 is 10 minutes 2100 to 2300 is 2 hours 2300 to 2325 is 25 minutes So altogether the film lasts 2 hours 35 minutes A train departs from London at 5.18 am and arrives in Aberdeen at 12.13 pm How long does the journey take? 5.18 am to 6.00 am is 42 minutes 6.00 am to 12.00 pm is 6 hours 12.00 pm to 12.13 pm is 13 minutes So altogether the journey takes 6 hours 55 minutes
