3 Representing the Communication Services Industry Daventry -14 May 2008 FCS Installers Accreditation Programme Principles & Scope Scheme to be based on the principles of FCS1362 Scheme to be managed by FCS Defined entry level criteria Accreditation to be vested in the individual installer For “larger” companies, mgmnt systems to be assessed Testing & auditing to be carried out on annual basis All testing & auditing to be carried out by approved third parties (i.e. no self assessment) All accreditation is subject to review following complaints Rebranding

4 Representing the Communication Services Industry Daventry -14 May 2008 FCS Installers Accreditation Programme Criteria & Qualifications All accredited members must hold relevant MESF/VECP qualifications Skills and knowledge will be assessed against the requirements of FCS1362 Accreditation is limited to the technology assessed (e.g. cellular, PMR etc.) Accreditation is only valid if qualifications are current and up to date

5 Representing the Communication Services Industry Daventry -14 May 2008 FCS Installers Accreditation Programme Audit Programme Every accredited installer will be audited annually Company management systems to be assessed annually, where appropriate Assessments and audits are carried out by the appointed third party contractors FCS will oversee the programme, maintain records and manage corrective action

6 Representing the Communication Services Industry Daventry -14 May 2008 FCS Installers Accreditation Programme Training Training and qualifications to be provided by MESF Training will be appropriate to the installed technology in scope of accreditation Courses will be available on a standard or bespoke basis
