Visitors must sign in and out at the entrance A visitor must be escorted at all times The visitor’s badge or temporary authorization card must be visible at all times Cell phones and pagers must be turned off in all areas except for the main offices, canteen and training facility Cameras are not permitted Smoking is prohibited inside the plant Safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes are required in all plant areas Open-toed, high-heeled, or platform shoes are not permitted in manufacturing or laboratory areas Only vehicles required for work will be allowed to enter the plant In case of an emergency, the Mitten employee will escort the visitor(s) to a safe location

If a plant-wide evacuation is necessary, you will hear an evacuation alarm (siren) Your host will remain with you and escort you to a designated meeting place (parking lot), should the need arise Once the “All Clear” is announced, normal activities can then be resumed
