4. YOU Can Become a Part of the History of Our Great Organization Connect with Leagues across the country. Interact with a great staff and other League leaders on the national level. Chair a committee and be a member of other committees. Lend your talents on a weekly basis to the national League.

It takes personal commitment, the willingness to learn, and work with others to find mutual answers to difficult questions. The gratification comes in succeeding, learning and forging ahead to make the League a competitive organization in today’s world.

10. Important Information Fill out nomination form: find it online at LWVUS website or pick one up here at Council and mail it to the national office. We must receive a nomination form by October 3, 2011 Persons must agree to be nominated. ( no surprises, here.) Nominees will be asked to submit 3 references and resume. Interviews done by phone, usually minimum of ½ hour.
