5 What is Blended Learning? Having one place to review feedback from you and your classmates Being able to collaborate on peer assessment after class ends. Having a place to reflect on their progress, learning, and goals. Accessing digital course materials (e.g., lessons, videos, articles). Having online access to due dates, homework, and assignments.

6 Getting Set Up e-Learning Contact (eLC): – meets with teacher to get familiarized with system. – assists teachers with uploading online content, setting up discussion rooms, quizzes, etc… – orientation session with class – supports teachers and students as required

31 Impact on Teaching Practice The teacher takes on the role of coach or facilitator once the content has been modeled in the traditional classroom setting. Learning is student driven. Responsibility is transferred to the students. Student and peer feedback and discussion quickly develops in the blended classroom
