4. Warm-up: What do these words mean in English? Respect - To be nice to each other. Participate - To help in an activity. Volunteer - A person who help other people to do something.

5. FAMILY A group of people who are related to each other, such as a mother, a father, and their children.

6. Chinese Family  Most Chinese families are parents and 1-2 kid(s). Parents are both working, so if their children are little, they usually bring their parents to live with them to help taking care of the children while they're at work.  Most Chinese families live in apartments, big or small...

7. Immediate Family Membes IMMEDIATE Family are :- Your Parents (Mother.. Father) Brothers.. Sisters Your Children (Sons.. Daughters) Your Grandparents.. and your pets (dog, cat, birds) too.

8. Extended Family  Extended family are the people who you do not live with or see very often.  Your extended family is your aunts, uncles and cousins.

9. Everybody's family is different. Why are families so important? Example: My family is important to me because they are always willing to help me. If I am ill/sick, they will come and visit me. They wish for me to get better. Also, they are important to me because if I am sad, they try to make me happy.

10. Family Tree Is a drawing showing the relationships between people in several generations of a family.

12. Family History A family tree is a good way to help children understand their culture and gain knowledge about great grandparents and other family members they may never have the opportunity to meet.
