18 SAVING OPTIONS PowerPoint 2007 has multiple file saving options. SAVE (*.pptx): Default option saves as 2007 version and usually generates smallest file size. To open this file, people will need 2007 ‟ s software OR the free “2007Compatibility Software” from Microsoft installed on their PC. SAVE AS 97-2003 (*.ppt) allows the old software to open the file without needing the Compatibility software. Then copy and paste to make it your own. Add pictures from clip art or from the Internet Save it on your flash drive.
