* He was born on February 24, 1955. * His mother was 23 when Steve was born. * His parents gave him away to a couple that didn’t have college degrees. * When he was at least six, he told a girl across the street that he was adopted, and she asked him this: “Does that mean that your parents didn’t want you?” He asked his adopted parents if that was true, and they sat down and had a long talk.

* He was quite a trouble maker. * You could say he was sort of a hippie. He had long hair, and didn’t really believe in washing himself, which made him extremely unpleasant to be around. * He had a girlfriend named Chrisann Brennan. * He dropped out of college after the first semester. * After he dropped out, he met a guy named Steve Wozinak, and together, they founded Apple!

* For a time, Apple was pretty sure that Lisa stood for local integrated systems architecture, which is technically official sounding technological bosh. * The Lisa is named after Jobs’s daughter, who is Lisa Brennan Jobs. Sound familiar? Jobs wasn’t married. * He wanted the Lisa’s mouse to only have one button.

* His wife is Laurene Powell and he had three kids named (in order) Reed, Erin, and Eve. In her high school years, he started to like Lisa more, and Lisa came over a lot. * He sort of called Apple his baby. * He proposed twice to Laurene, and gave her a diamond engagement ring, but they still didn’t get married.

* Steve Jobs got fired from Apple and the Founded Pixar and NeXT. * NeXT made very bad computers, and Pixar made movies (obviously).

* The first Pixar film, Toy Story, was terrible on the first time. * Woody was mean, selfish and cruel. In one scene, he shoved Buzz Lightyear into the evil neighbor’s yard, closed the blinds, and said, “Hey, it’s a toy eat toy world.” * Pixar wanted a more innovated character, but they despised this guy!

* Apple needed help, so he went back. * They had made too many of one product, and not enough of others. Some of the products burst into flames. * Time called it a chaotic mess without a strategic vision and certainly no future! * BusinessWeek titled a cover story: The Fall of an American Icon. * Fortune said, its enough to break your heart. * In the December of 1996, Steve returned to the Apple Cupertino campus for the first time since 1985 when he was fired.

* Think Different was an Apple campaign that didn’t relate to any products, but linked the Apple brand name to famous icons.

* In October 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but that didn’t stop him from making his products. * These are some of the things that were made (in order): Finding Nemo, iTunes store for iMac, iMac G4 (First flat screen), Monsters Inc., Cars, iPhone!!!!!!!!, Ratatouille, Mac Book Air, Wall- E, App Store, Up, iPad, Toy Story 3, iPhone 4, iPad 2, and Cars 2.

* Steven Paul Jobs died on October 5 th, 2011. * He looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his kids, then at his wife Laurene, then past them. * His final words were: “OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.
