2 Dial up Connection to the Internet  Directly connected to the phone system by a cable that runs from the computer to the wall jack.  Delivers good connection speeds  Prices of a dial up modem can cost anywhere from $9.95 to 21.95 a month.

3 DSL Internet Connection  128 Kbps to 1.544 Mbps is the bandwidth  The cost to install will range from $100 to $200.  Per month rates are $40 to $80 for home  Per month $80 to $320 for business  The further from DSL service provider's facilities, the less speed comes

4 Cable Internet Connection  Instant high speed connection  3 times faster than DSL  Includes great video, realistic sound and fast downloads and uploads  As low as $ 19.95 a month  Plus a cable modem must installed for a price

5 Which one is better?? DSL accesses the Internet through telephone line, similar to Dial-up access. Cable access is 3 times faster than DSL and more than 50 times faster than Dial-up. You make the decision… Dial- up is the cheapest of the three. DSL and Cable have to be installed. The monthly payments are more money also. Cable does not use the telephone line, but may be hard to receive a solid connection.
