11. Reading Graduated Cylinders
The water/liquid in a graduated cylinders makes a curve. It is called a MENISCUS.
Always read the volume from the BOTTOM of the curve! Make sure you are eye level with the meniscus.

The base unit for length in the metric system is the METER. It is abbreviated with a m.
Length/distance measurements are made using a RULER or METERSTICK!

Think about there are 100 cents in a dollar!
