6 Step 1 – Building Grade Levels Verify that the Grade List on the Building Configuration Preferences tab is populated for every building you will include in the OCR data collection.

7 Step 2 – Federal Grade Codes Update the Grades List Validation Table with Federal Equivalency Codes for your district’s grade levels that are in the data collection.

8 Step 3 - Federal Course Codes Scheduling Center > Master Schedule > Federal Course Codes Mass Update the fields on the Federal Course Information page for courses that need to be included in the OCR data collection.

9 Adding Federal Course Information Tag courses for reporting on the Scheduling Center > Master Schedule > Federal Course Information > Federal Course Type field. Use the Utilities, Mass Update, Course Catalog option. (Be sure to update building -1 if using a District Course Catalog, along with all other buildings.) Use Utilities, Copy Setups, Copy Course Catalog to Master Schedule to copy to the reporting school years.

12 Part 1 - Questions

13 Part 2 - Discipline Data on the Discipline tab is required to calculate Harassment and Bullying counts from eSchoolPLUS Discipline Center data. Map your local discipline Action Code(s) and your local Incident Code(s) and Incident Category Code(s) to the appropriate OCR category.

14 Part 2 - Testing Data on the Testing tab is required to calculate counts for SAT, ACT, and AP tests from eSchoolPLUS Test Score Center data. Specify the test definitions that represent these tests.

15 Part 2 - Miscellaneous School Year Start Date and School Year End date are required on the Miscellaneous tab. The Start Date should be the earliest first day of school in the district and End Date should be the latest last day of school.

17 Student Groups The Student Group Definitions page will be used to define the student criteria used for the OCR Civil Rights Data Collection. The search group detail stores the filter that will be used to select students to process. SunGard has pre- defined the search code codes that will be used for the OCR report.

18 Student Group Detail To check that the expected list of students will be selected by your criteria, you can click the Preview Student List button.

19 OCR Processing The OCR Reports option will generate a pdf report of the Part 1 LEA Form and School Form and flat file submission data file for the district/LEA and schools.
