2.  What do you use the internet for?  Discuss the positive and negative aspects of the internet.  Provide examples of 3 positive aspects and 3 negative aspects.

3.  How private is information that is posted on the internet?  Discuss privacy settings on Social Networking sites.  Is there any way to ensure complete privacy?

4.  Discuss the safety issues with putting classmates’ pictures or other information online.  Would you ever put information on a website that you intend only you and your friends to see? Why or why not?

5.  What do you do to respect other people’s rights while online?  Has anyone ever used the Internet to violate your rights or do something hurtful to you or someone you know before? If yes, what happened?

6.  In the video, “You Can’t Take it Back”, some boys rated the girls from their school and put it online.  What do you think happened to the girls after this information was posted online?  What could the boy have said or done to convince his friends not to participate in this website?

7.  What guidelines do you follow to help you decide what information you should or should not post on the Internet?  How would it affect our school as a whole if a similar situation (rating others online as in the video, “You Can’t Take It Back”) happened with some of our students?
