2. Number of Credits You must have a minimum of 23 credits to receive a diploma from Douglas County School System. **18 credits are needed to be promoted to senior status.

5. Foreign Language Alert! Foreign Language is not required for graduation. 2 and 4 year colleges still require 2 credits of the same foreign language for admissions.

9. There is still HOPE! HOPE Scholarship (85% tuition) 3.0 Core GPA No longer covers books or fees Hope Chart Zell Miller Scholarship (Full tuition) 3.7 core GPA + 1200 SAT (math/verbal) or 26 ACT composite

10. There’s Still HOPE (cont’d) Covers a percentage of tuition at a public technical college. No GPA requirement to receive grant. May be GPA requirement to keep it. Must complete FAFSA in January to be considered for HOPE Grant.
