Basic Science Terms  Physics: the study of energy & how it affects matter  Bias: a point of view which is personal or based on a belief that is NOT supported by facts (Bad)  Control Group: the group which does NOT have any factor changed & is used as a comparison  Independent Variable: factor that is purposely changed  Dependent Variable: the change that results from the independent variable
