13. What was Jesus teaching about forgiveness? God is forgiving. Forgiveness is not just for good and holy people. If a person is truly sorry for what they have done they will be forgiven. All people can make a clean break from their old lives. If you cannot forgive others for what they have done then you cannot expect God to forgive you! Many of the problems in the world are caused by people not being able to forgive others and people living under the illusion that they do not need forgiving!
