When you first log in, this is the page you will see. It lists all the courses you’re enrolled in – and differentiates between those that are active and expired. Click on the class you want to see or upload an assignment to

This is your home page for the class you selected. By default, you should be in the screen called “Class portfolio”. This is where you can see all the assignments for the class, along with their due dates. To submit an assignment… make sure you go to the CORRECT assignment and click on SUBMIT. Then follow the on screen Instructions. For a given assignment, you can submit as many times as you want as long as it’s before the due date, and not more than once in a 24 hour period. If your submission is successful, you will get a digital receipt. If you don’t, it means your submission did not go through. If you want to download an original version of your assignment – or if you want to get a copy of your digital receipt, click on the download icon beside the assignment. If you want to see the teacher’s comments once it’s been graded – click on VIEW
3
If you click on “VIEW” (see previous page), your assignment will appear. Here, you will be able to see: your scorecomments your teacher left on the paper comments your teacher left as “text comments” If your teacher had your paper checked for plagiarism, the report score will appear here. Click on it to see the details – if available If you want to print or save a copy of your assignment WITH the teacher’s comments on it, click here…
4
If your teacher has set up this function, clicking here will bring you directly to his/her faculty web page or specifically, the course web page If your teacher has posted a class discussion, clicking here will allow you to see it/them and participate. You can view and track your grades by clicking on MY GRADES
5
If you click on MY GRADES, you will be taken to this screen. This is where you can see your overall grade in the class and how you did on each specific assignment. Note: grades are in decimal format, so 1.00 is actually 100% If your teacher has posted class notes or other files to this course, you can view them by clicking here. If you want to see a visual snapshot of your grades across all assignments, tests, etc…, click on Graphs Sometimes this helps you to see trends or patterns that you might otherwise miss.
6
Want to see another useful feature? Return to the CLASS PORTFOLIO page. Go to the CALENDAR tab.
7
This is an excellent way to keep track of due dates. If your teacher has posted a document to the turnitin.com class page, it will also appear on the calendar
