So What is Google Calendar? Google Calendar it’s a free app that lets you keep track of your own events and share your calendar with others. And is all pretty easy!

Now lets get started!!! 1. Go to www.google.comwww.google.com 2. click on “Calendar” at the top of the page.

Continued… 3. this will take you to the Sign In page. 4. In the email field, you will type the email address that was given to you for today’s lesson. 26 Calendar

Now lets create an event!!! But before we create one, we need to tell our calendar in what country we are in, and in what time zone we’re in. 1. Click on this logo at the top right corner of your calendar, and then click on “Settings” on the drop-down menu. 2. Now on the “country” field, select United States 3. After that is done, select “Your current time zone” which would be: “Eastern Time” Once you’re done with that, scroll all the way down and click “Save” on the bottom left.

Now, lets finally create an event!!! 1. Click on the “Create” button on the very left of your page. (make sure to click on the button and not the down arrow) Now for today’s lesson we are going to create an event for one of our relatives or friend’s upcoming birthday. 2. So, for the title, name it anything that you wish to, like for example” “My daughter’s Birthday”. 3. Now set the date and time that this event will take place on.

Creating an event, continued… 4. Now fill up all the details like “Where”, “Description”, “Add guests”, and “Reminders”.

Finishing up!!! After you’re satisfied with every detail in your event, scroll up and click “Save” And there you go!! Your event has been created!! Now lets go ahead and find it!! 1. First, to make it easier, lets go and click on “Month” on the top right of your calendar. 2. Now, lets go to the month your event was created by clicking the “next period” arrows on your top left. Stop on the month that your event was created and your event should be highlighted on the day that is happening.

We are Done!!! We are done!! But I wanted to show you all one more useful thing. 1. Lets go back to Today, click on “Today” on your top left. 2. Now, click on “Agenda” on your top right. With the “Agenda” view, you can now view a list of the upcoming holidays and events that you have created. And as you can see, “Easter” is the upcoming holiday.

The End!!! That was it!! Hope you all learned something new today about Google Calendar. Thank you for your patience!!! TEAM USA Diego Gac
