Ingredients ( 재료 ) 떡 Tteok, rice cake 어묵 fish cake 파 green onion 마늘 garlic 고추장 gochujang, red pepper paste 간장 ganjang, soy sauce 물엿 starch syrup

Recipe ( 만드는 법 ) 1.Boil the water. ( 물을 끓여요 ) 2.Put rice cake and fish cake into boiling water. ( 끓는 물에 떡과 어묵을 넣어요 ) 3. Put garlic and green onion. ( 마늘과 파를 넣어요 ) 4. Put red pepper paste, soy sauce and starch syrup. ( 고추장, 간장, 물엿을 넣어요 )

Table Manner ( 식사 예절 ) Come to the table with clean hands and face. Put your napkin on your lap. Start eating when everyone else does – when given the OK to start. Stay seated and sit up straight. Keep elbows (and other body parts!) off the table while eating.

Table Manner ( 식사 예절 ) Chew with your mouth closed and don’t talk until you’ve swallowed. Don’t make bad comments about the food. Say “Please pass the ---”. Thank your host or whoever prepared the meal. Offer to help clear the table.

Do you want some more? A: Wow! It looks delicious. ( 와우 ! 이거 맛있어 보인다.) B: This is topokki. Try some. ( 이건 떡볶이야. 먹어봐.) A: (After eating) It’s spicy. ( 먹은 후에, 맵다.) B: Do you want some more? ( 좀 더 먹을래 ?) A: Yes, please. Thank you. ( 응, 고마워.) B: You’re welcome. ( 천만에 ~)

Let’s have topokki A: I’m hungry. ( 배고프다.) B: Let’s have topokki. ( 떡볶이 먹자.) A: Wow! I like topokki. ( 와우 ! 나 떡볶이 좋아해.) B: Wash your hands first. ( 손부터 씻어.) A: OK. ( 응, 그래.)
