3 Credit Request: PSY 302 – Child Psychology – 6 Credits Source of LearningLearning StatementsDocumentation  This column lists the source of the student’s learning.  The information comes from the student’s Expanded Resume.  Student’s understand that the evaluation is not based on where they have learned it.  Statements that helps the student demonstrate their learning in alignment with a college course.  They reflect equivalency in learning to what is taught in the course.  Learning Statements ALWAYS begin with a verb.  This column lists the documentation that the student will use to support this particular credit request.  Documentation comes in various forms. 3

4 Learning Statements are essential to a solid credit request. Strong Learning Statements:  Are clearly written  Describe knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired  Begin with verbs that illustrate learning behavior  Identify observable and measureable learning behaviors  Are clearly aligned to the course outcomes  Are clearly aligned to the source of the experience  Are endorsed by Supporting Documentation 4

7 Explore Courses to use for your Credit Request. Filter by Keywords and Institution Name. Review the Course Description and save the Course to your Saved Course Queue. 7

9 To begin building your credit request, click Start. On this screen, you will also have the ability to remove any courses you do not want to submit for credit. You can delete credit requests and mark them as complete. 9
