21. Primarily through the Scriptures (truth, principles) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. II Timothy 3:16-17

22. How does God direct His people today? We have the Holy Spirit. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30

23. How does God direct His people today? God works through godly desires. Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task. I Timothy 3:1

Avoid taking responsibility for their own actions. A way to shirk the responsibility of real Bible study, of real prayer, of real waiting upon God for His answers.
