2. What has brought me to my decision.  All my life I have been interested in building and creating since I can remember. I never really looked up to being an artist though. I'm also very into studying history and things from before and studying old artifacts, that is why I enjoy history class.  By the time I turned about 7 years-old I understood more about what people say and what they do. I like to do sports like skating, fishing, basketball, soccer, etc. I just don’t think I want to become a professional though, I thought of something else to do.  Now that I am 13 years old and have spent a lot of time with my cousin, he has talked to me about mechanical engineering. After hearing everything he sais I really want to be a mechanical engineer.

3. How am I hoping to live when I'm older.  When I get older I want to remain living in San Diego. It is the most beautiful place and I love being in Pacific Beach. I want to remain in southern California at the least.  I would want to live in a nice big one story house on the bay or the beach. I would like to have a family with 2 kids, I hope both being boys or possibly a boy and a girl. I would like to have a big German shepherd.  I am a person that is very into the sea life and I love fishing big fighting tuna, but I don’t want to be a commercial fisherman. When I grow up I want to do something that increases your knowledge even more. That is why I want to become a mechanical engineer.

4. My plan on starting my career.  When I go to high school, I want to take engineering for a full year. I am very good with math and numbers which is a good thing to have for being an engineer.  I really want to learn mechanics and what to do. I hope that I go to a good college and get into a mechanical engineering course.  After I am done with my course I hope that I am able to take a degree test. That test is called the FE that will lead you into a mechanical engineering career. This is what I hope to have some day and what I will strive to get.

5. Will I work with Cars?  Maybe I will be able to work with cars.  This is one of the types on engineering i would want to do.  If I work with cars I would work with the controls.

6. Maybe some day I will work with weapons?  Maybe I will be working with jets and planes or other weapons.  I would also love to work with these sorts of things.  I don’t know what I'm going to work with but I really want to be a mechanical engineer.

7. Will I reach my goal?  Someday I hope to be doing projects on mechanical engineering. I hope to live in a beautiful place and have a family.  Hopefully the day will come were I will be working under orders and I will be making something.  I will know I have reached my goal when I have a family and I am living in a nice house.  This is my American Dream.
