Turn to page 338 in your textbook and carefully read over the information on the page and study the picture. Bubble Chart Graphic Organizer Using your laptop you will use Inspiration 8 to create a bubble chart graphic organizer on ideas and beliefs that drove imperialism and caused European countries to take over other nations. We will set the graphic organizer up together and you will use the section “Forces Driving Imperialism” on pages 340 and 341 to find the reasons behind imperialism.

19 Dividing Up Africa Map Questions
Looking at the map, list three problems you think could have occurred since countries were so close together. Which country (s) controlled the most territory? Why do you think they did? Which country (s) controlled the least amount of land? Why? Do you think African people were treated the same, since so many countries controlled them? How were they treated?
