UL immediately responded by developing a comprehensive Anti-Counterfeiting Program. The primary mission of UL's anti-counterfeiting program is to protect the safety of consumers around the world from the hazards of products bearing counterfeit UL certification marks. UL has a zero tolerance policy for counterfeit goods and does not consent to the import, export, or manipulation of seized merchandise carrying a counterfeit UL Mark. UL takes all available legal remedies to prevent products bearing counterfeit UL Marks from entering the stream of commerce.
